German Society for Palliative Medicine – DGP
The DGP is a scientific society representing interdisciplinary and multi-professional integration: 5 500 members from medicine, nursing and other professional groups are committed to comprehensive palliative and hospice care ensuring close co-operation with all stakeholders. The common goal is to ensure significant relief of symptoms and improvement in the quality of life of patients with severe disease, regardless of the environment in which the patient finds him/herself.
From 2006 - 2018, Interplan and DGP enjoyed a close and trusting collaboration in the organization of the DGP Congress which takes place in a 2-year cycle.
